Morgan’s interpretation of this celebrated vintage has matured gracefully over the decades, offering classic Douro character with the complexity that extended bottle ageing brings.

Tasting Notes:
Deep garnet with a brick-tinged rim, the nose reveals layered aromas of dried blackberry, plum and fig, interwoven with notes of walnut, cedarwood and tobacco leaf. On the palate it is full-bodied yet harmonious, with tannins that have softened beautifully over time. Flavours of dark cherry compote, raisin and subtle cocoa unfold alongside hints of sweet spice and dried herbs. A balancing thread of acidity keeps the wine vibrant, leading to a long, warming and elegant finish.

Serving & Food Pairing:
