Description

The 2016 Quinta de Roriz Vintage Port Wine is from this historic Douro estate is a rich yet elegant wine with immediate appeal but longevity. The flavour profile shows lifted ripe red fruit aromas with delicious supple flavours of strawberry and raspberry. There is an interesting mineral streak, backed up by dry tannins that give the wine balance and structure. The finish is long bursting with juicy sweet forest fruit and spicy undertones

Quinta de Roriz is one of the oldest estates in the Douro and it was one of the first to sell wine under its own name. This is the second declared Vintage Port made at Quinta de Roriz by the Prats & Symington partnership, since taking ownership of the historic property in 2009.

Vibrant in the aromas of red fruits, very characteristic of the vintage ports of Quinta de Roriz. Very good tannins, drawn by the minerality of the soils of Roriz. Good aromatic amplitude complements the tastes of fruits jams, cut by a beautiful acidity.
