Barbera del Monferrato DOC 1999 Il Post dal Vin Terra del Barbera is a red wine from the Monferrato region, Piedmont, Italy, produced by Il Post dal Vin, a winery dedicated to expressing the authentic character of Piedmontese Barbera grapes. This 1999 vintage showcases Barbera’s hallmark vibrancy, balanced acidity, and the elegant complexity developed over two decades of careful aging.

Tasting Notes:
The wine presents a deep ruby-red color with subtle garnet reflections at the rim. The bouquet is layered and expressive, offering aromas of ripe red cherries, plums, and hints of wild berries, complemented by tertiary notes of leather, gentle spices, tobacco, and soft earthy undertones. With gentle aeration, delicate balsamic and mineral hints emerge, enhancing the wine’s sophistication and depth.
