    • Description

    This 1997 Barolo has developed the classic elegance and depth of aged Nebbiolo. The nose offers complex aromas of dried cherry, rose, tar, leather, and hints of truffle and tobacco, alongside subtle notes of spice and forest floor. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet refined, with softened, silky tannins, balanced acidity, and flavours of dried red fruit, cedar, and a touch of earthy mushroom. The finish is long, savoury, and lingering, revealing the wine’s matured structure and Piedmontese character.

    Serve at 17–18 °C (63–65 °F) after decanting for 30–45 minutes to allow the wine to fully express its bouquet. Ideal with braised beef, roast game, or aged cheeses such as Grana Padano or Pecorino. It also pairs beautifully with rich pasta dishes like tajarin with truffle or a slow-cooked ragu.
