cellar Tracker From the acclaimed 1982 Vintage, the Château Fonroque is showing an unmistakable nose of violet and dried cranberry, there is also a very faint hint of sulfur lingering in the glass, although I must say it's not at all offensive. Medium intensity on the palate, with round tannins and an impressive amount of acidity. A great wine that most likely will not improve any further, but should hold here for at least 2-3 more years.
