The 1981 Chateau Lynch-Bages is a classic expression of Pauillac. The nose reveals harmonious and complex aromas of red and black fruits, tobacco, licorice and spice. On the palate, the fruit is round and ripe with a long graceful and balanced finish. A great wine in its own right and a pleasure to drink now.

Serving Suggestions:
Please decant before serving to remove any sediment. Serve at room temperature with grilled or roasted lamb and a well-chosen Pauillac wine as good a pairing as it gets. Pauillac is also a perfect wine with not overly seasoned meat dishes, such as marbled steak, roasted duck and game.
