Description

This mature Nebbiolo from the 1998 vintage shows the graceful patina of age. The bouquet is complex and autumnal, with notes of dried rose, tar, truffle, and faded cherry, layered with hints of cedar and tobacco. On the palate, it’s elegant and dry, with fine-grained tannins now softened by time, balanced acidity, and flavours of dried red fruit, leather, and spice. The finish is long, savoury, and gently earthy, reflecting classic aged Piedmont character.

Serve at 17–18 °C (63–65 °F) after a brief decant of 30–45 minutes. Pairs beautifully with braised meats, wild mushroom dishes, or aged hard cheeses such as Parmigiano Reggiano. Excellent alongside traditional Piedmont fare like brasato al Barolo or tajarin with truffle.
