Description

The 1965 Barbera d’Asti DOC by Ronco Vincenzo is a historic Piedmontese red wine that reflects the traditional and rustic character of Barbera from the Asti area during the mid-1960s.

Tasting Notes: The wine likely presents evolved aromas of dried cherries, plum, and red berries, accompanied by earthy notes, leather, dried herbs, and subtle spice developed through long aging. On the palate it is expected to be smooth and delicate, with softened tannins, integrated acidity, and a medium-light body leading to a mature, refined finish.

Serving & Food Pairing: Best served at 16–18°C, ideally after careful decanting to remove sediment. It pairs well with roasted meats, pasta with rich sauces, cured meats, and aged cheeses.

Producer: Ronco Vincenzo is associated with the winemaking tradition of Piedmont, a region renowned for its historic red wines and long-standing culture of producing expressive wines from native grape varieties.
