'This elegant, soft Grand Puy Ducasse should be no surprise for followers of this reasonably priced classified growth. A dark ruby/purple color is followed by aromas of sweet, smoky cassis, licorice, and dried herbs. Round and ripe, this 1999 displays more stuffing than many of its peers. (April 2000)
