Description

Like many of the pre-war bottlings that have been released (largely by G&M) over the years, this is a stunning whisky. But something about the Macallans, the rich nature of the distillate and its natural tendency towards such a full and concentrated style, plus the incredibly fresh and brilliant casks available to them at the time, combine to make these old Macallans something truly special. This, along with the 1936 and 38 vintages, is one of the most elegant and beautiful spirits ever bottled.
