Description

This 1993 Nebbiolo d’Alba shows the refined elegance of a well-aged Piedmontese wine. The nose reveals aromas of dried cherry, rose petal, leather, and subtle tar, complemented by hints of tobacco, earthy herbs, and gentle spice. On the palate it is medium-bodied, with softened tannins, balanced acidity, and flavours of dried red fruit, cedar, and forest floor. The finish is long, savoury, and harmonious, reflecting the wine’s matured Nebbiolo character.

Serve at 16–17 °C (60–63 °F) after a brief decant of 20–30 minutes to allow aromas to open. Excellent with braised meats, roasted game, mushroom risottos, and aged hard cheeses such as Parmigiano Reggiano or Castelmagno.
