"More lift on the nose than the 1993. Blackberry, mint, cedar: good delineation although lacking a little vigor. The palate is full-bodied, very good concentration and definition. Very nice balance. Quite assertive, good grip and persistency with red berried fruit, smoke, cedar. Classic in style, but certainly one of the better 1994's that I have tasted." Neil Martin Wine Journal
