The 1972 Chateau Pavie is fully mature and like so many wines from this vintage is in steep decline. One note found indicates that wine was way past its prime, but in fact it was still drinkable. In the bouquet chocolate, soy, celery, coffee and rust. On the palate also some cocoa and drying.-Cellar Tracker 2016
