Description

This red wine is made by Nicolas Thienpont at the famous Château Puygueraud. The Theinpont family produce some of the most famous Bordeaux wines including Château Le Pin, Château Pavie Macquin, and Vieux-Château-Certan. Closerie des Bories is made entirely of Merlot. It is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months before additional aging in the bottle. The wine is full bodied and rich with pure blackcurrant fruit, silky tannins, with hints of spiced milk chocolate. The finish is long and ends with a touch of pepper.
