This 1986 wine by Giuseppe Quintarelli is one of the best Reciotos out there. You should expect an evolved nose of dried fig and prune, dried Italian herbs and some savoury notes.
On the palate, it should display a high acidity that balances the sweetness very well. The flavour intensity should be pronounced with layers and layers of red fruits, herbs and savoury character lingering on the palate. A fabulous wine for someone born in 1986 and for any special occasions or anniversaries commemorating the 1986 vintage.
