Description

The 1975 Rosso Conero Fratelli Mecella is a beautifully aged red from the Marche region, crafted from the Montepulciano grape. Over the years, it has developed a rich and complex profile with aromas of dried dark fruits, such as cherries and plums, along with earthy notes, hints of leather, tobacco, and subtle spice. The tannins have softened gracefully with age, resulting in a smoother, rounder texture, while the acidity remains fresh, offering balance and vibrancy. This mature Rosso Conero has evolved into a refined, elegant wine that showcases the aging potential of Montepulciano.
