Rathfinny Estate produces some of the finest English sparkling wines. We are delighted to include Rathfinny in our ever-expanding portfolio of Sparkling wines. To launch Rathfinny we are offering all four of their current releases at a special price.

Classic Cuvee
Rathfinny 2018 Classic Cuvée is the third vintage of our classic, ‘house-style’ Sussex Sparkling, made in the traditional method from Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapes grown and hand-harvested on the Rathfinny Wine Estate.
Tasting Notes: A buttermilk golden hue beckons in a nose of ginger-dusted white plums on cinnamon toast, a rich palate of white apricot and crème pâtissière with nuances of preserved Meyer lemon on the finish.

Brut Rose
New release! Rathfinny 2018 Rosé is the fourth vintage of our expressive Sussex Sparkling, with a red-fruit style that beautifully showcases the increased presence of Pinot Noir within the blend during a year which is widely considered the vintage of the decade.

Tasting Note A pale pink Rosé in colour with a sublime nose of Seville orange cream and flat peach, a vibrant palate of wild strawberry coulis and candied mandarin zest with a white pepper and satsuma sherbet finish.

Blanc des Blancs
Rathfinny 2017 Blanc de Blancs is the third vintage of elegant Sussex Sparkling, produced from Chardonnay grapes grown and hand-harvested on the Rathfinny Wine Estate. This is a limited production of only 9,333 bottles.

Rathfinny Blanc de Blancs has made a name for itself among the most discerning wine writers, with one eminent critic, Jamie Goode, naming it “One of England’s finest”. Now on its third vintage, the Rathfinny 2017 Blanc de Blancs is elegant and sophisticated, made from 100% Chardonnay and aged for 36-months on its lees.
Tasting Note A luminous, flaxen-gold hue leads to a heady nose of ripe papaya and creamy lemon balm, a refined beading of white peach and fennel pollen with a silken, yuzu zest finish.


Blanc des Noirs
As a Pinot Noir-dominant house, the Blanc de Noirs (a white sparkling wine made from black grapes) is perfectly presented as our signature sparkling wine. Rathfinny believe their Sussex Sparkling is best experienced when accompanied by the finest food, whether in the world’s best restaurants or at home with friends and family.
Tasting Note Gilded amber on the eye, with an expressive nose of caramel-drizzled red apples and malted biscuit, a fine mousse of poached plums over cinnamon toast and a sea-salted hazelnut finish.

About Rathfinny Estates
Rathfinny Wine Estate is a family-owned Sussex wine grower and producer, established in 2010 by Mark and Sarah Driver. Located on a wonderful south-facing slope in England’s South Downs, the climate, chalk soil and aspect make it the perfect site for growing grapes for world-class sparkling wine.

The low-intervention, traditional method Sussex Sparkling wines are a true expression of the terroir. Produced from hand-harvested grapes that are whole-bunch pressed and bottled aged on the lees to develop rich, autolytic notes, with a low dosage that emphasises the purity of fruit.
