Chianti Classico, 1969

Camporena

This 1969 Chianti classico is characterised by its ruby red colour which turns to garnet with time, with aromas of red and black cherry intermingled with notes of wild herbs, mint and a hint of earthy spice. It is supported by a racy acidity, mellow tannins and a long persistent finish.

Chianti, situated in Tuscany in central Italy, is home to probably the best-known and most iconic of all Italian wines. The area’s most highly regarded wines come from the Chianti Classico zone which is the heartland of the Chianti wine region – its traditional and longest-established vinicultural area. This fame is due not just to the high quality of the wines, but also to the classico zone's iconic Tuscan landscape and wine making traditions.

Egri Bikaver, 1969

Monimpex

Egri Bikavér is THE red blend produced in Eger, Hungary. It is the true essence of the red wines of Eger, a terroir wine, which carries the flavour of the soils of local production sites, the mezzo-climate unique to the region and the traditions and mores of local residents, from the selection of grape varieties to choosing the time and method of processing and maturing. The exact date of the emergence of Egri Bikavér is shrouded in mystery. One thing is certain; the word Bikavér (Bull’s Blood) was recorded as early as the beginning of the 19th century. Under the name Bikavér, full-bodied red wines were sold, not only in Eger and Szekszárd but other places as well.
