Excelso 1964 Gran Reserva Rioja, Bodegas Franco-Espanolas

This 1964 wine is from the famous Rioja region in Spain. It was aged for five years in oak casks and one more year in the bottle. It has aged gracefully into a classic Gran Reserva Rioja, with a garnet and mahogany colour, mellow aromas of coffee, leather and saddle leather, and a long, elegant finish.
