Palo Cortado `Viejo C.P.`

The NV Palo Cortado Viejo C.P. produced from Palomino from the Macharnudo Alto is feed with specific casks of Fino Inocente and Amontillado Tio Diego. It was traditionally aged in the Calle Ponce (Ponce Street), and if has kept the C.P. initials since then. It’s not age-certified, but the average age of the bottled wine is 25 years.

Notes: Pale sandalwood/caramel in hue, with a fresh, brisk, redolently woody aroma. Though appearing to teeter on the verge of volatility by virtue of being so dry and so woody, the blue cheese notes (cachel blue / dolcelatte / cabrales / stilton) lift it into an entirely different level. …

The 2020 Altano Douro wine is full bodied but soft textured, this Dourored is incredibly moreish, full of rich red fruits and spices. Grapes are sourced from the Symington family’s own Dour Valley vineyards.

Vietti - Castiglione

The 2014 Vietti Barolo red wine is composed of grapes selected from small vineyards spread in the Barolo region. The vines are between 7 and 40 years old, planted in a clay-limestone soil. Plants are trained with guyot method, with an average density of roughly 4500 units per hectare. All the different crus are vinified and aged separately with slightly different processes to underline the singular characteristics of each parcel and terroir.
