Description

The 1985 Chateau Angelus remains a very pleasant, fully mature Saint Emilion that needs to be consumed sooner rather than later. It has a Burgundian bouquet, a little diffuse with scents of field mushroom, light red berries and sous-bois. The palate displays fine definition. There is a slight sharpness on the entry, chalky tannins with a smooth finish.

Good levels - labels very bin soiled and damaged - vintage barely legible.
