"Typical extremely dark colour, unevolved nose of impressive powerful impenetrable fruit, great density and richness of older g-ls from big vintages. reminiscent of 61, 45, 28, and almost as backward as an 1865 drunk in 1980. still closed after 2 hours but delicious, powerful, dense, dark fruit with plenty of tannin; and very long finish. could still improve for 20+ years."
