Description

A unique wine from an extremely rare wartime vintage which is in beautiful condition.

This bottle was checked at Ch. Lafite Rothschild in 1992 when is was recorked and reconditioned. This wine is still in outstanding and stll has a dark ruby colour with only a slight orange rim. There is a pleasant aroma of cherries and some mint. On tasting, this wine has good acidity with a decent amount of tannin left. The tastes were of cherry and cassis.

This wine is delivered in a presentational gift box with vintage notes at no extra charge - just click on standard packaging.

Condition

Recorked and reconditioned at Chateau Lafite in 1992. Level in neck. Excellent condition for year, capsule slightly nicked.
