Description
A novelty wine from the very famous first growth which proudly bears the Rothschild name. This is one of the vintages in the run up to Mouton Rothschild being classified as a first growth Bordeaux in 1973 and with a long time in the bottle this wine has potential to surprise with complexity and maturity. This Château has a great tradition of having its labels designed by famous artists, even Prince Charles in recent times, and this vintage was designed by the French writer, poet and painter Bona. Once Château Brane-Mouton this Château was renamed Château Mouton -Rothschild by Nathaniel de Rothschild in 1853 and has become one of the best known Chateaux in Bordeaux.
