Description

The Plince 2010 is slightly deeper in colour than other Pomerol crus, the nose commensurately a little more opulent with ripe blackberry, raspberry, date and a touch of cherry. Quite modern in style but still well defined. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins on the entry, fine depth, quite sensual in style but just lacking a little backbone towards the finish. Fine. Tasted April 2011.
