The 1983 Rabaud Promis is a stylish, finesse-styled Sauternes, with a lovely roasted/sweet honeyed character with melon, tropical fruit, and vanillin scents.

Beautiful amber color. Nose and tastes of honey, orange marmalade, cinnamon, and golden raisins. Had a slight hint of sherry on the backside. The wine got even more intense and flavorful with additional time in the glass. Very nicely balanced between the alcohol, acid, and fruit. A seriously delicious sauternes that has held up well over 35 years. Reviewed by K-WEB24, tasted 2018.
