The Chateau Relais du Cheval Blanc from the exceptional 1989 Bordeaux vintage has a dark red core with bricking on the rim. There is still some black fruit remaining, with notes of spice and undergrowth. It is well balanced with good acidity, soft tannins and a medium+ finish.
