A 1996 wine from the region of Bordeaux.

Neal Martin writes of this wine... "Showing fabulously at the turn of the millennium where it displayed great depth and concentration. A more muted response when last tasted blind at Farr's horizontal. Much fresher on the nose with good fruit concentration. Blackberry, cedar, burnt toast, quite complex and well-defined. The palate is quite sweet with bitter cherry, raspberry and strawberry. Moderate tannins with a fleshy finish. Not bad at all. Tasted September 2006." Neal Martin Wine Journal
