Review: "This may turn out to be an outstanding effort. Deep and concentrated for a 2001, it offers a classic Pessac-Leognan bouquet of smoky, scorched earth, black currants, melted licorice, and a hint of burning embers. Although still monolithic, this medium-bodied claret possesses good texture, purity, ripeness, and overall balance." RP Wine Advocate 2004
