Description

Almost Pinot Noir-like with its forest floor, sweet cherries, vanilla and spice, the 2004 Chateauneuf du Pape Mont Redon is a blend of 65% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 8% Mourvedre and the balance other permitted varieties, that was aged half in stainless steel and half in barrels. It offers moderated depth and richness, yet stays nicely balanced and fresh. It’s a good wine that’s drinking at point.
