Description

The 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape wine from Domaine de la Janasse is fully mature with fresh crushed cherry, exotic spice, sweet floral tones and forest floor, in an expression that is more Pinot Noir than Grenache. On the palate, it is soft and enveloping but with a fresh wave of acidity with notes of cherry pit, cranberry sauce and sweet herbs. The finish displays resolved tannin with fresh fruit and inner floral tones.
