Description
Ciro is a DOC of the Calabria wine region in deepest southern Italy. Considered one of the oldest named wines in the world, with a winemaking history stretching back thousands of years, this is Calabria's flagship wine. The Ciro Rosso has a bright ruby red colour and is transparent. It has an elegant bouquet in which they differ floral and fruity notes: rose, maraschino cherry, red fruit and hints of iodine on rhubarb and sweet spices. The palate has a weight in balance and freshness, is intense and soft with a lingering fruity finish and almonds.
