Description

An intense and complex LBV from Ferreira - the first Portuguese Port House, founded in 1751. The grapes in the blend are sourced predominantly from the historic Quinta do Porto and Quinta do Caêdo estates in the Cima Corgo.

Deep ruby in colour. On the nose, intense aromas of ripe black fruits are accompanied by hints of rock rose and violet, spicy nuances and a subtle minerality. Powerful on the palate, with firm but ripe tannins and a sweetness perfectly balanced by a vibrant acidity, all culminating in a long and elegant finish.
