*** 96 Points Robert Parker **
Fonseca is one of the great port lodges, producing the most exotic and most complex port. It excels in its magnificently complex, intense bouquet of plummy, cedary, spicy fruit and long, broad, expansive flavors. With its lush, seductive character, one might call it the Pomerol of Vintage ports.

Gorgeous, sweet, long and reverbant, surely drunk at the ideal time in its long evolution. Quite thrilling. Tasted June 2022- Jancis Robinson

Tasted blind. Quite a depth of red-brown colour still. Notable, jammy strawberry aromatics that are enveloped by Christmas cake, a few herbal notes and layers of old leather and truffle complexity. This broadens out and develops beautifully in the glass. Sweet, rich and mouth-filling, with a delightful, chocolate-laced finish. Glorious. (TJ)JancisRobinson.com
