The 1975 Franco Fraris Grignolino is a wonderfully aged version of this unique, light-bodied red from the Piedmont region. Over the years, it has developed complex aromas of dried red berries, rose petals, and subtle earthy notes, along with hints of dried herbs and a touch of spice. The typically soft tannins have softened further, creating a smooth, rounded texture, while the acidity remains vibrant, helping to maintain the wine's balance and freshness. A refined and elegant expression of Grignolino, showing the potential for aging.
