Description

This is Solera wine formed in 1928. Maury is well known for it's unique dessert wines coming from the Languedoc region. Maury can be keep for years, much like a port wine. It's a very nice fortified wine - not as hot/alcoholic as most ports at 16.5%, and with a very smooth balance of sweetness and acidity. There's a nice complexity to the fruit, and a good bite on the palate. It is not at all cloying, and, in fact, perhaps too easy to drink!
