Description

Au Bon Climat is a Californian estate with an international reputation for its Burgundian-styled Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines made predominantly in Santa Barbara County. Owner-winemaker Jim Clendenen was one of the best-known figures in the American wine industry.

'Talinda Oaks' is a private label produced for the proprietor of Sanford and Benedict Vineyard.

Tasting Notes: The nose is initially gamey, but soon gives way to stewed raspberry and dates with mace/nutmeg afternotes. This wine is certainly fully mature but not without merit. The pallet holds up fairly well with soft autumnal fruit and a pleasant finish. Ready to drink now.
