Veuve Clicquot's 1996 Vintage Reserve is made from a blend of around twenty Premiers and Grands Crus. The cépage is dominated by the power of the Pinot Noir (59%), making this a perfect expression of the house style. Full and rich, it displays fresh citrus and yellow plum fruits with subtle nuances of hazelnut and honey. It is already drinking very well and makes a wonderful aperitif
