Description

The 1982 Chateau Cabonnieux has been professionally stored since original purchase. Now 40 years old, it has aged gracefully into a mature Bordeaux. This wine has scored over 91 points on Cellar Tracker.
In the glass the colour is rustic red/brown with a nose of dried red fruits with some nutmeg, dried herbs, apothecary, leather and farmyard. At first the taste is light but gains weight with some airing. This is a mature Bordeaux and the tertiary characteristics dominate. Medium finish. VWP note Feb 2021 TC.
