The 1975 Chateau Fombrauge has a garnet/brick colour with watery rim. Some black fruits, but predominantly tobacco & leather dominate the nose.
On the palate it is funky with bark, black pepper and blackcurrant with a medium body, medium acidity and a medium finish.
