Description

This is a marvellous example of aged Pauillac from the excellent “super second” estate, Château Pichon Longueville Baron. After a change of hands and the introduction of Jean-Michel Cazes in 1985, a succession of releases set in motion a real change in fortune for the estate and brought it back to prominence. Now approaching its peak, the 1992 is rich with black fruits interlaced with savoury nuances of truffle, earth, leather and graphite.
