Chateau Dauzac, 1998
Margaux 5th Growth Classification
Bottle size: 75cl
Out of stock
The 1998 Chateau Dauzac is now beautifully mature, yet possesses a youthful purity.
Possessing an earthy nose, with notes of coffee, leather, licorice, tar and a good bit of stewed fruit. On the palate, mulling spices and warm fruit, with great notes of leather and tar that make it a great match for pairing with venison or game meats.
The body is on the lighter side of medium, but that is to be expected at its age. Overall, it still feels like it has more years left. Delightfully elegant.
