The 1983 Dow's vintage port is an outstanding port scoring 90 points on the Parker rating. Classic Dow's this wine has structure and is very sweet and round and slightly raisiny. Slight rustic edge but very ripe and round and lively with a certain freshness and punch. Long and powerful. Drinking well now but will hold for many years.
