A 2008 Vintage Port Wine from Fonseca. The wines of Quinta Do Panascal are rich, with voluptuous fruitiness, mouth filling density and a velvety texture. Being one of the most highly regarded vineyards in the Douro Valley, these ports are a pure expression of the estate’s terroir. These wines are approachable at an earlier stage but still offering the exceptional structure to lay down and enjoy a delicious vintage port for years to come.

"Beautiful nose: sweet blackcurrant fruit with a savoury spiciness and some blackcurrant bud richness. The palate is dense and spicy with great concentration and lovely savouriness. Rich blackcurrant and blackberry fruit with nice tannic structure. A superb port with lovely density and structure."
