Graham's Port
50 Year Old Tawny Port
100 Points Richard Mayson - World Of fine Wine
The Grahams 50 year old Tawny has a captivating deep orange-brown hue, framed by a dark walnut base and a pale green rim. It has complex aromas with layers of orange blossom, fruitcake and butterscotch, creating a balanced and concentrated sensory experience. The mouthfeel is substantial, rich and creamy with vibrant acidity, enchanting notes of seasoned wood, nutmeg, and cinnamon, and a lingering finish that endures on the palate.
Charles Symington, Graham’s Head Winemaker and Master Blender, selected two main components for the 50 Year Old blend. The first is a wine from 1969 known as 'CAS Reserve', which was originally set aside by Peter Symington to mark Charles’ birth, giving the wine his initials. …

Sandeman
50 Year Old Tawny Port
***95 Points- GOLD- Decanter 2023***
Beautiful pale tawny in colour. The 50-Year-Old Tawny is exceptionally pronounced and complex in aroma profile. Intense aromas of dried fruits, roasted walnuts, toffee and spice burst out of the glass. Velvety smooth on the palate, with a bright acidity keeping the decadent flavours on the straight and narrow and all culminating in a deliciously lingering finish.
There are few more iconic images in the world of wine than the ‘Don’, the logo created for the Sandeman family in 1928 by George Massiot Brown. The cape was modelled on the attire worn by university students in Porto, while the wide-brimmed hat was a nod to the family’s presence in Jerez. …

Fonseca Port, 1973
Crusted Port - Bottled in 1973
Badly Damaged labels
A very rare bottle of 1973 crusted port.
Crusted Port is a very small category, named because of the 'crust' of sediment that it forms in the bottle. Invented by the British-owned Port houses predominantly for the British Port drinker, it is intended to be a more economical alternative to Vintage or Late Bottled Vintage. Crusted is a blend of several harvests, which are bottled without being filtered and laid down to mature like Vintage wines. Using this approach allows the manufacturer to use some of the lesser harvests but still produce a good rich full bodied wine at an economical price. …
