Porto Rosé is made exclusively from red grapes, fermented at low temperature in order to preserve the most delicate fruit aromas. It’s tremendously easy to drink, either by itself or as a cocktail.

Quevedo 40 Year Old tawny: Our good friends Oscar and Claudia have lovingly produced this outstanding 40 year old made from vines planted by their grandparents.
This 40 Year old tawny Port is a dark tawny colour with with green hints on the rim. Huge complexity of aromas, from nuts, to sweet dried fruits and at a certain point, it smells like honeycomb. On the palate it is thick and intense, with the dried fruit coming along and it never finishes.

The 2022 Claudia's Branco Reserve is a blend of Gouveio (52%), Viosinho (25%), Códega (18%) and Folgasão for the rest, all aged for eight months in one-third new French and Hungarian oak. It comes in at 12.9% alcohol. This handles its oak flawlessly, which means that the fruit shines through and the freshness takes control. There's a juicy and tasty finish with just a little acidic bite. I'm not sure this will evolve much if you age it, but it might hold on and become more interesting over the next couple of years. A 2018 Late Bottled Vintage Port Wine from Quevedo.

The 2018 Late Bottled Vintage Port (LBV) is a traditionally styled (lightly filtered but not cold stabilized) blend of Touriga Franca (35%), Touriga Nacional (15%), Tinta Roriz (20%), Tinta Barroca (22%) and Tinto Cão filling out the blend. It was bottled in May 2023 with a long cork and 84 grams of residual sugar after aging for three years in large French vats. Expressive and fruit-forward in its its dry fashion, this adds some structure, but the tannins are never too hard. It is easy to drink now. The depth is average and the power is controlled, although there is some bite on the finish. …

A 2017 Late Bottled Vintage Port Wine from Quevedo.
Sourced from the winery's quintas at Vale d’Agodinho and Trovisca, this is dry, light and lifted. It's not the richest and deepest of the LBVs I've seen from this producer, but its focus and the length on the finish are superb. Very expressive as well, this shows brilliantly just now. It can also age and develop if you want to hold it.
