This 1987 wine from Grand-Puy-Ducasse is a terrific wine for an off-vintage. Whilst it is not a blockbuster, it is a cedary, spicy, fragrant wine with fine depth, a supple texture, some fatness and flesh, as well as a smooth, graceful finish.
