**HALF BOTTLE**
The Quinta das Carvalhas 10 Year old Port is an outstanding aged Tawny Port and is a wonderful introduction to the category. It reveals auburn topaz reflections with a harmonious and elegant bouquet characteristic of aging in oak casks, with notes of spices, honey caramel and butterscotch. The wine is full-bodied and has a long lingering finish.

In order to enjoy this Port at its maximum splendor, it should be served at 14°C, partnering preferably with light chocolate deserts or soft cheese.

For a 10-year-old Port, this is impressively mature, showing plenty of wood-ageing flavours that have fully embraced the more youthful fruitiness. Sweet and with hints of caramel, this is a fine, ripe Port to be drunk now. — Roger Voss
