Quevedo 40 Year Old tawny: Our good friends Oscar and Claudia have lovingly produced this outstanding 40 year old made from vines planted by their grandparents.
This 40 Year old tawny Port is a dark tawny colour with with green hints on the rim. Huge complexity of aromas, from nuts, to sweet dried fruits and at a certain point, it smells like honeycomb. On the palate it is thick and intense, with the dried fruit coming along and it never finishes.

Devesa 10 Year White
The NV 10 Years White Port was bottled in 2020 with 114 grams of residual sugar and a bar-top cork. Not showing anywhere near as sweet as the residual sugar statistics would suggest, this does still seem very rich. It is not a style that is as bright and lively as some, but there is more intensity of flavor than most. It has bitter chocolate and caramel nuances, sometimes seeming more Tawny-like. Made with grapes from the 1973 harvest and matured in cask until bottling in 2022, this is a fabulous white Port that is golden in colour, with a nose of sweet spices, iodine, wood notes and candied citrus. The 2015 Late Bottled Vintage Port is a blend of 30% each of Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca and Touriga Nacional, plus 10% Sousão aged in old balseiros for four years. It was bottled unfiltered and with a long cork in 2019. It comes in at 113 grams per liter of residual sugar. Very fragrant, this is scented with eucalyptus, and it shows fine structure as well. Tight on the finish in its youth, it is focused and flavorful, with lingering fruit. This expressive LBV is well done.
